ARM achieves it’s mission and vision through 5 key strategies.
These key strategies are considered our organisation’s “Non-negotiables”. All aspects of our ministry fall within these strategies which help guide our decision making and keep us focused on the task God has given us to produce Generations of Transformational Christian Leaders.
ARM believes that the church is vital to all our ministry, not only as a support but as our implementers, meaning that without the church, ARM would cease to be able to operate. Therefore, it can be said that we work with the church, through the church, and for the church to the glory of God.
❉ WITH THE CHURCH: ARM works in conjunction with the church, as a partner and support agent. This allows the church to be creative in their approaches, structures and ministries without being governed by ARM.
❉ THROUGH THE CHURCH: ARM works through the church as our implementing agent. That means that all ARM ministry is overseen by a strong local church. Therefore any new ministries that ARM seeks to start, need to have a local church identified as the overseeing and implementing agent.
❉ FOR THE CHURCH: ARM has programs in leadership for the church. This helps build up leaders and pastors for the effectiveness & expansion of the local church, internationally.
ARM takes its vision of training Christian leaders seriously, not because it is a great catch-phrase or the newest trend. We take it seriously because Jesus took it seriously. In Matt 28:18-20, Jesus commanded that all of his followers go out and make disciples of all nations, baptizing, teaching and training them in the ways they should go. For that reason, we seek to not only train up one age group or demographic but several:
❉ CHILDREN (0-12yrs): All of our children are cared for using a holistic approach; we focus on 5 core areas of development (Spiritual, Cognitive, Physical, Social-emotional & Leadership).
❉ YOUTH (13-25yrs): As our children reach adolescence & young adulthood, ARM gradually takes its lessons on leadership and begins to solidify the importance of leadership lifestyles.
❉ ADULTS (26+yrs): ARM has a wide range of adult participants in which we provide a variety of leadership trainings and short courses to enhance & encourage them in their ability to lead those entrusted to their care.
Due to several disturbing global trends found in our world today, and ARM’s increasing desire to see servant leadership upheld by the participants of our program for the glory of God. ARM wants to see the following values portrayed in our staff, students, graduates, & anyone else with whom we come into contact.

ARM seeks to strengthen our collaboration efforts with our partners of similar visions & goals. We utilize internal and external, temporal and long-term strategic networks in the pursuit of leadership development. The strategic networking will help us combine efforts and shared resources with both regional and global partners, for a specified or indefinite period of time, in order to achieve our common objective
❉ NATIONAL STRATEGIC NETWORKS: These include partners and support systems such as: local churches, schools & universities, communities, government bodies & agencies, NGO’s, business entities, etc. that are located within the specific country we are working in.
❉ INTERNATIONAL STRATEGIC NETWORKS: These include our international partners and support systems located outside of the specific country we are working in, but located in surrounding nations, the same continent, or on a global scale.
ARM believes that transformational Christian leaders need to be strategically present at every level of society, whether locally, nationally or continentally. These transformational leaders, are integral to their communities, as they have a greater capacity to influence and spearhead transformation through their relationship with the people and their understanding of their societies unique challenges than any organisation ever will.
❉ LOCAL COMMUNITY: Includes local areas that are in close proximity to ARM’s country specific offices.
❉ NATIONAL COMMUNITY: Includes all districts & areas which lie within the borders of ARM’s country specific offices.
❉ CONTINENTAL COMMUNITY: Includes other countries which share continental ties with ARM’s country specific offices. In the next 30 years ARM is planning on focusing on expanding mainly within the African continent.
