Nothing…To Something

Eragu Francis is in Primary Seven (7th Grade).  He stays with his single mother in the deep village, 13 miles from the main road.  When he joined Soroti CDP in 2008, he could honestly testify that he did not have one single possession.  But today, with the help of his sponsors, he has been saving for his future.

Eragu has been very wise in how he uses the gifts his sponsor sends him.  At first he bought a goat.  He continued to buy goats until he had saved enough to trade them for a cow.  He continued to do this, and now he is a proud owner of 3 cows, 2 sheep, and 3 goats.  This has greatly impacted him and his mother.  Giving them the ability to better sustain their family through the revenue they get from their livestock.

Eragu and his mother are extremely grateful for his sponsors, and they keep them in their prayers each and every day!  Eragu is just one example of the lasting impact that sponsorship can have on an entire family!
