Meet Gorette Mutesi!
Gorette is the last born in a family of 7 children. Her illiterate mother migrated with Gorette and her siblings to Uganda from Rwanda.
Gorette’s mother and siblings never had an opportunity to go to school. As a result, Gorette also had little hope of going to school but in 2006, Gorette was sponsored through ARM! She has been able to get counselling, develop in music, serve as a church usher, grow academically, and most importantly fall in love with Jesus Christ. She is now in Senior 5 (11th grade) and is mentoring her nieces and nephews to attend school and church activities. Some of her sisters have seen the transformation in their family, and have also given their lives to Christ through Gorette’s example.
Gorette whole-heartedly thanks her sponsors for the impact they have made in her life and her family. In addition to their monthly support they have also helped the family build a latrine at their home. We thank God for the great things He has done!
