Sponsorship makes a Difference!
Meet Tadeo and Gorret, both of whom were sponsored in 2009. These children live with their grandparents, who are peasant farmers. The grandparents struggled to keep them in school and even meet their basic needs. The family lived in a mud house which at the time was crumbling!
But when Tadeo and Gorret’s sponsors came around, they both commited to not only bless the children, but their entire family. The sponsors sent special monitary gifts each month above and beyond their sponsorship commitment, and with
that money the family was able to pay school fees, buy school uniforms, cover medical treatment and save money to build a better home for the family.
The home is now complete and has been transformed from a crumbling mud home to a modern brick home, complete with windows, doors and iron roof.
Gorret finished primary school last year and passed with one of the top grades. She was given the opportunity to attend a boarding school and has continued to do well in her High School studies. Tadeo is currently studying for his primary leaving exam and hopes to start High School next year.
Without Gorret and Tadeo’s sponsors it would not have been possible for the children to be where they are today.
From the bottom of our hearts, Jabez CDP wants to thank every sponsor for the impact you are having on our children. May God truly bless you as you have blessed us!
