Africa Renewal Ministries is governed by two Independent Board of Directors committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and His principles. The Ugandan Board and the US Board. The US Board, started in 2003 as a support to the Uganda Board, consists of the following members:
Pastor Kasirivu is the founder of Africa Renewal Ministries. He has been the senior pastor of Gaba Community Church in Uganda since 1989. The church has grown from a congregation of 15 to one of over 2,000 during his tenure. Through the church a number of ministries are assisting children, families, and pastors.
Brian is a production support manager. He and his wife Janna have 2 children and live in San Antonio, TX. He has been involved with ARM since 2009, helping establish a church partnership with New Life Church Gahanna & Mukono Community Church. His main area of focus is to see church partnerships strengthened.
Cathy has over 30 years of experience in nonprofit management with Christian ministries. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Generations Adoptions. A native Texan, Cathy is married to Russell and they have 3 grown children. Cathy has been a part of ARM since 2008 through short term missions trips.
Douglas lives in Uganda and serves on the ARM Uganda Board of Directors as Chairman. He is a private consultant and specialist in organizational development. He is married with children and has served at Gaba Community Church as a leader in the men’s ministry.
David is married to Martha and has 4 adult children. He has worked for 39 years as a property and casualty insurance broker and is called into a ministry of leadership. He has served at his church as a deacon, elder, and church administrator and been involved with Men’s ministry.
Jay is the Pastor of Preaching and Vision at Grace Church in Waco, TX. He and his wife, Lydia, have 3 children and 1 grandchild. He has been involved with ARM through pastor training in church planting, leadership, and preaching, and leadership training programs. He is instrumental in helping to provide strategic direction for ARM’s future.
